No. Slug generation runs entirely in your browser — nothing leaves your device.
How are accents handled?
Accented characters are transliterated (é→e, ß→ss where applicable) via Unicode normalization, then lowercased and hyphenated.
What gets removed from the slug?
Punctuation, symbols, emoji and extra whitespace. Only lowercase letters, digits and your chosen separator remain, capped at 120 characters.
