Does formatting send my JSON anywhere?
No. Parsing and printing happen entirely in your browser — safe even for API payloads with tokens you'd rather not leak.
How precise are error messages?
Errors pinpoint line and column, e.g. 'Unexpected token } at line 3, column 7', derived directly from the parse failure position.
How large can input be?
Multi-megabyte documents format smoothly; syntax highlighting caps at ~1 MB to stay responsive, but plain formatted output has no practical cap.
