How to use it

- Color profiles that ride on metadata may be dropped; photos usually look identical anyway.
Frequently asked questions
What metadata gets removed?
Everything embedded by cameras and phones: EXIF (including GPS coordinates, timestamps, device model), XMP tags and embedded thumbnails. Re-encoding writes fresh pixels only.
Will image quality change?
JPEG/WebP re-encode at quality 94 — visually indistinguishable. PNG output remains lossless.
Are original files modified?
No. Re-encoding writes fresh pixels into brand-new download files — the originals on your disk are never touched.
Will people notice an image was processed?
No. Re-encoding at high quality is visually indistinguishable — the picture looks identical, only the invisible metadata is gone.
